AWE Science, Technology, Engineering and Innovation Center

AWE Communities will actively recruit members that have strong science, technology and engineering backgrounds. Through the Science, Technology, Engineering and Innovation Center ("STEIC"), AWE will provide facilities for research, development, design and engineering as well as building systems and innovative technologies to be demonstrated through applied use in AWE Communities. The primary areas of focus will be (i) water desalinization, conservation, purification and atmospheric generation, (ii) renewable energy and fuels, (iii) agricultural technologies including algae, stackable hydroponics, soil remediation and nutrition, (iv) sustainably built-environment, and (v) IT, Communications and Internet technologies.

STEIC will provide jobs for highly skilled scientists, researchers and technical people while providing them with the benefits of community and business support, including community amenities, financing, business management, IP protection and licensing. In turn, the community will benefit from STEIC's innovations, products and services through which the community can create greater abundance, wealth and jobs.
